High on Compassion: MMJ Volunteer for Escabags

A handful of team members from the Commercial Sales team based in Wollongong took some time out of their busy day to spend a day volunteering at Escabags.

Escabags is a fantastic and worthy cause aiming to alleviate the immediate trauma of domestic abuse by providing free and effective access to 'Escape Bags' in communities, whilst connecting victims with resources and agencies to continue their journey towards survivorship.

The volunteering day gave the team the opportunity to be introduced to Escabags, an idea of how to recognise the signs of domestic and family abuse, understand terminology and how best to support someone in our workplace or community that may be experiencing domestic or family abuse.

MMJ has proudly partnered with Escabags for over 12 months volunteering and as a stockist of Escabags and looks forward to continue supporting this incredible cause well into the future.
